Hi! We are
glad you have arrived at our leachate web site.
Here are 3 good
reasons why we think you should
stay!
1. We are
leachate treatment experts each with
more than 20 years experience, so we know what
we are talking about.
2. We are
tired of seeing the poor quality of so
many of the leachate installations we see as we
travel the UK and the world.
3. We
like giving you free access to some
of the most important
information
that we have discovered about
landfill leachate, as we
have found that many of you will wish to
contact us to engage our
services, and together
we can create "World Class" Leachate
Treatment projects!

ABOUT OUR
SPONSOR:
Enviros Consulting
pioneered the on site treatment of leachate in
the UK, and is the clear market leader in the
field, with over 80 leachate treatment plants
to our designs, operating in England, Ireland,
Scotland, Wales, South Africa, Hong Kong and
Malaysia.
These plants treat
in excess of 20,000 cubic metres of leachate
each day, of which over 12,000 cubic metres is
discharged daily into surface watercourses to
comply with high quality discharge
consents.
We
commissioned our third leachate treatment plant
in the southern hemisphere in 2007, near
Durban, South Africa. Design work on our fourth
South African plant has now started.
In
the US our first leachate treatment project is
complete, and an extension design to a leachate
treatment plant has started for this large
landfill plant in Malaysia.
In
Malaysia our two leachate treatment plant
projects were completed in 2006 and 2007
continue to operate successfully.
At
home in the UK our activities have continued
through 2009 to date with five plant projects
active in England, two leachate treatment
plants in Scotland, and one in Northern
Ireland, so far this year.
In
Northern Ireland we have upgraded the leachate
treatment plant at Ballyfodrin
Landfill.
Leachate collection
infrastructure projects have been completed in
Wexford, and Craigavon, and many other leachate
infrastructure projects are under
discussion.
Since installing
its first aerobic biological leachate treatment
plant in 1982, the company has developed
unrivalled, award winning experience in all
areas of leachate management, treatment and
associated engineering, both in the UK and
internationally.
This
extends from process design, to traditional
consultancy services, and includes full "design
and build" packages.
UK
Environment Agency A PPC Guidance for the
Treatment of Landfill Leachate was initially
drafted by Enviros. See the Leachate
Processes Section.
